Ancestors float above us in Ranginui

Tawhirimatea throws thunder down onto the earth 

A great time to celebrate

Remember tupuna gliding in the sky

Intimidated by the glowing stars hovering in the night sky

Kites flying high by fluffy clouds

I get up early to see the stars rise

This is my Matariki poem. This type poem is called an acrostic. The way you can make one by having your topic written down the side and the first letter is the letter that starts the sentence.

t WALT: make a google slide about yourself. I had to create a google slide and write up and find photos of things that  Represent me.  The reason I made this and put it on my blog is because the people that look at this post will get to know more about myself. I learnt how to insert photos and I also learnt some new words too. my favourite piece of making this post was finding the photos to complete this post!Next time I will try to add more things about me. If you did this what would you put about yourself on it?

I had a lot of fun making this music.

 

WALT-fit shapes to make the date 2nd of November. I was confused but got help and got it done. It was a super hard challenge for me. I needed to flip pieces,rotate pieces,move and turn pieces. IT was so hard and so fun!

WALT-write to persuade our audience

we had to write to convince our teacher that we should go on a class trip to where we want to go.

In mine I wanted to go to the whangarei waterpark and go camping.

 

 

I made this shell art not long ago. But I didn’t get to finish colouring it in. When I have a chance I will be able to finish colouring it in. Next time I will put in more detail in to it. What I liked about doing this art was having a shell to draw this art with and having support by my friends.

WALT: create an illustration on google draw.

first I inserted the jamming pandas with little turtles. Next I added a circle shape and changed the colour from white to bright yellow. Then I made a stick man with the lines button. what I liked about it was changing the colours and insert images from google. Next time I am going to try not to insert any images from google so that means to draw them myself.

WALT-create art from a book.

Me and Flynn made this art together. First we drew the out line with a book to see how to draw it. Next we started to colour the big guy in with black pastel. Next we started to dye it. Dyeing was definitely my favourite part and that is how we made it. I will post again soon!

Next time I would add more colour because then it would have a lot more detail.

I liked inserting and finding photos because all of them were cute.

next time I want to do another native animal to new zealand I say kakapo are the cutest
